There are so many projects that I complete on a daily basis, it is hard to keep up and blog about every single one. So I am going to just blog the best of the best and the projects that I most love. That is not to say that I don't love all of the projects that I complete, but some I love more than others (of course).
So a while back I was cruising though cricut access (for those of you that are on the fence about CA, recommend it). There are a ton of great ideas and a plethora of inspiration to be had in CA. Anyway, while I was browsing through all that access had to offer I came across this totally awesome project.
And of course I have a very close friend who is in love with everything mermaids. As a matter of fact if she could live in the sea as a mermaid she would. Well, as a supportive friend I decided to make her this, I still made it as a pillow, but I altered it a bit. You can find some great deals on Amazon if you really take the time to look.
I took to Amazon and ordered the pillow and pillow cover. Both only cost about $23. The vinyl I already had (it came with my cricut bundle).
If this is a project you want to make, its very easy. All you have to do is search mermaid pillow in Cricut Access. What you will need to complete this project is:
- 18x18 pillow
- 18x18 pillow cover
- Iron on vinyl or heat transfer vinyl (HTV) (I used cricut gold glitter iron on
Machines used in this project:
- Cricut Maker (but if you have another cricut machine like the air or air 2 it should work just the same)
- everyday household iron ( i did not have an easy press at the time)
Beautiful!!!
